Summer chess is back and in-person!

During the eight-week session, students will compete with each other to determine who will represent Carol Stream at the inter-library chess tournament at the end of the summer.

Bring your friends to this weekly hangout featuring a different activity each time!  No registration required.

Grades 6-8, but older friends and siblings are welcome!    

Come discover some new anime through screenings of various anime films! Snacks will provided.

​This will be an introduction to the world of classic American grilling. We will explore basic grilling techniques with vegetarian and omnivore options.

Relax with coffee, donuts and a game! We will be playing Flamecraft in June and July, along with a variety of board games on hand from classics to newest favorites. Instruction, games and snacks will be provided by the Library.

Librarian Paul McDonald will provide a fun and informative 1-hour presentation about this interesting and complex new App, TikTok.
