Program Description

Event Details

What does it mean to have an "organic" garden? What plants and methods should you use in an organic garden? Find out everything you need to begin your organic gardening journey with Connie Kollmeyer, an Environmental Educator with The Conservation Foundation.

Social gathering will start at 6:45 pm and the Program will start at 6:45 pm.

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

Registrants will receive a Zoom link via email. Participants must have a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please email us at cstream@cslibrary.org or call (630)653-0755.
