Event Details

Registration opens March 1 for high school students. This program requires acceptance of the following Waiver and Release of all Claims. Those under 18 will need a parent's signature.

Taught by staff from the Carol Stream Fire Department, attendees will receive a certification card upon the completion of the course which lasts from 10:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Snacks will be provided courtesy of the library.

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course is designed for anyone with little to no medical training so that they are better prepared for an emergency in any setting.
