This month, we're reading Front Desk by Kelly Yang

Ten-year-old Mia Tang faces numerous challenges. Her parents are overworked and overwhelmed trying to make ends meet. After a years of struggling financially, they are hired to manage a motel. Mia is promoted to run the front desk.
