Program Description

One More Chapter Book Club

If you’ve ever said, “I’ll just read one more chapter!”, this is the club for you! Join us as we munch on snacks and talk about this month’s book selection. Get a copy to keep at the Youth Services Desk.

Event Details

This month, we read the moving autobiographical account of Daniel Nayeri in Everything Sad is Untrue.

In an Oklahoma classroom, Iranian immigrant Khosrou (also known as Daniel) tries to tell a his story. But no one believes a word he says. To his classmates, he is a dark-skinned, hairy-armed boy with a big butt whose lunch smells funny; who makes things up and talks about poop too much.

Free copies of Everything Sad is Untrue are available to registrants, while supplies last.
