Join us for The Forgotten Story in a Forgotten War: Native Warriors In The War of 1812, presented by Eric Hemenway, director of the The Repatriation, Archives and Records department for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Numerous native warriors from many tribal nations fought in the War of 1812 yet their stories are often not heard. This talk will look at some prominent native warriors and reasons for their participation in this often forgotten piece of American history.
