Program Description

Event Details

More Than a Month is a year-long series of events designed to help us learn how to recognize issues of systemic oppression and find opportunities to grow into a more equitable and inclusive community. The first year of this series will focus on Black history and experiences in American society. Future years of the series will highlight other groups whose experiences in and contributions to our society may have been primarily recognized only during an official heritage or awareness month.

This month is a discussion of the March graphic novel series by John Lewis, Books 1-3. These graphic novels are available through the Hoopla app that you can use for free with your library card!  Or, visit our catalog to place a hold on a physical copies of the books and we will let you know when it is available for curbside pickup.

Once you register, we'll email you an invitation to join the Zoom meeting.
