Program Description

Event Details

More Than a Month is a year-long series of events designed to help us learn how to recognize issues of systemic oppression and find opportunities to grow into a more equitable and inclusive community. The first year of this series will focus on Black history and experiences in American society. Future years of the series will highlight other groups whose experiences in and contributions to our society may have been primarily recognized only during an official heritage or awareness month.

This month is a discussion on Ibram X. Kendi's How to be an Antiracist.  Please contact us if you would like help getting a copy of the book, or you are welcome to place your hold through the catalog: click here.

When you register for this event, you will receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting.  If you need any assistance, please call the Adult Services desk at (630)344-6123 or email us at cstream@cslibrary.org
