Program Description

Event Details

Intrigued by succulents and cacti? Learn what makes them so unique but can also make them challenging to care for. We'll share ten tips that will help you get started and succeed, including potting and soil mixtures, watering, light requirements and feeding. We'll also give suggestions on propagating and talk about what pests to watch out for.

Social gathering will start at 6:45 p.m. and the Program will start at 7 p.m.

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

Registrants will receive a Zoom link via email. Participants must have a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please email us at cstream@cslibrary.org or call (630)653-0755.
