Identifying trees in the winter can be an easy task if you know a few simple characteristics about twigs. Join botanist Chris Benda, aka Illinois Botanizer, as he explains the key traits and subtle features of woody plants like trees and shrubs so they can be identified any time of the year.  Social gathering will start at 6:45 pm and the Program will start at 7:00 pm.

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

Registrants will receive a Zoom link via email. Participants must have a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please email us at cstream@cslibrary.org or call (630) 653-0755.
