Event Details

Richard Hentschel, University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, will talk about the history of crop breeding leading up to genetically modified organisms, or GMOs. He will then discuss the pros and cons of GMOs so that you can make a more educated decision on whether or not these plants are acceptable for your family. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

When you register for this event, we will email you a link to a Zoom meeting. Participants must have a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please send us an email at cstream@cslibrary.org or call us at 630-344-6123.
