Program Description

Event Details

Our DIY community is invited to make projects together as our Make and Take series meets in the virtual world! This month’s project is weaving looms. You may use your own materials (see the list below), or, if you register more than 1 week before the event, we will provide you with a supply kit available for curbside pickup.

Instructions are available through CreativeBug, a website you can access for free with your library card. Make your project anytime, then join your neighbors for a show-and-tell style meetup via Zoom.

When you register for this event, we will email you a link to a Zoom meeting. Participants must have a Zoom account and a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please send us an email at cstream@cslibrary.org

How to participate:

  1. Register for this event.

  1. Visit https://www.cslibrary.org/learn/creativebug and log in with your library card number and PIN.

  1. Search for "kids weaving" to see instructions and a video on how to create projects on a portable loom.

  1. Make your craft, and show off your results in our Zoom meeting! We look forward to seeing your friendly faces and creative projects.

For this month's project, if you register more than one week in advance, we will provide a supply kit including:

  • a cardboard base

  • tape

  • yarn
