Event Details

This summer, we welcome all who are interested in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All to join us in completing a free, online class. We will watch instructional videos independently, then meet up on Zoom for a monthly discussion of what we learned- plus, enjoy a "Conversation Pack" including discussion questions, treats to enjoy during the meeting, and a chance to win a door prize handmade by Librarian Vera!

To access the class, please login in to LinkedIn Learning with your library account number and PIN at https://www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/carolstreamlibrary

Then you can link to the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All Learning Path: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/paths/diversity-inclusion-and-belonging-for-all?u=110934122

At our first meeting in June, we will have discussed the first three training videos in the Learning Path. This month, we will talk about the next two videos:

  • Skills for Inclusive Conversations
  • Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues

We will continue to work through the class throughout summer. You will receive a link to the Zoom meetup when you register for this event. We will let you know when your Conversation Pack is ready for pickup 1 week before the meeting.
