In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we are discussing Strike! The Farm Workers' Fight for Their Rights, by Larry Dane Brimner. Strike is a nonfiction historical account about Filipino-American and Hispanic workers strike in 1960's California, which includes the leadership of the Latinx Civil Rights activist, Cesar Chavez. High School through Adult age groups are welcome to attend.
