Program Description

Event Details

We welcome presenter Sal Redhawk, a lifelong resident of Illinois and a descendant of the Zapatecan and Chichimecan, to speak about the early lives of the Potawatomi. This interactive presentation will include a display of Native American artifacts from the 1700s.  Some of the household and kitchen items will be available for touch and feel. You will learn about their history and culture and how the Native American experience is still living, evolving, and thriving today.

Masks are encouraged but no longer required for our in-person programs.
