Event Details

Bats are amazing creatures and October is a fun month to learn about them!  Brittany Rogness from the Illinois Bat Conservation Program will teach us about the bats that we find in Illinois, their ecological, economic, and medicinal benefits, threats, misunderstandings, conservation and how to help bats in your backyard. Brittany will also talk about bat acoustics and show us some of the equipment used for this. If weather is permitting we may be able to go outside and listen to some.

This program will be in person in the combined meeting room at the Carol Stream Public Library! Masks are no longer required for in-person programs.

The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

If you have any questions or need any help, please send us an email at cstream@cslibrary.org or call us at 630-344-6123.
